Lars Spuybroek
The Son-o-house was revealed about a year ago i reckon, and still i haven't found the time to take a little de-tour on the many occassions i've passed through Eindhoven. It ought to happen someday soon... i'll let you know. Still, a great piece of art, as architect Lars Spuybroek himself categorizes it, that deserves to be taken note of. The structure plays with sound and shape, and is a characteristic example of Spuybroek's way of building. Obviously, because i haven't seen the structure yet, i can't tell you what it's like, but hey, i feel like posting.
Another project of NOXARCH is the D-Tower, which is really out of this world, like a giant pulled tooth marching through town, displaying the nerves of the community. Through daily polls, the color for the object for the next evening is determined. I sound totally bonkers right? It's late, i'm sleepy, check out the links, you'll see.
